Where Are My Outlook Contacts?
Have you set up a workflow to move Outlook contacts over only to find that none have actually come through? No worries! Our workflows can only bring contacts over from your Office 365 account — so chances are your contacts are stored in your Outlook desktop software. This article will guide you through checking your Office 365 contacts and how to export/import them from Outlook.
Steps to check your Office 365 contacts
Go to Office 365
Navigate to www.office365.com in your browser.
Sign in to your account
Click Sign In and log in with your Office 365 credentials.
Open Outlook
Once logged in, select Outlook from the left-side panel.

Load your contacts
Click the People icon to load your contacts. If no contacts appear, they are likely stored only in your Outlook desktop application — see the next section for how to resolve this.

Contacts not showing? Export & import from Outlook
If your contacts do not appear in Office 365, they are stored only in your Outlook desktop software. Follow Microsoft's official guides to move them over:
- Export your contacts from Outlook using Microsoft's official guide.
- Import the contacts into Office 365 using Microsoft's official guide.
