Integration Overview

This integration provides users with easy syncing between ZipForm and Utility Connect! Once set up, changes to Transactions in ZipForm will sync to and create/update Leads inside Utility Connect. This sync will continue to run automatically and require no user input.

To get started, please see the steps below. Further down the page is a list of fields that this integration will sync betwen Utility Connect and ZipForm.

 

Connecting Utility Connect

  1. Log into API Nation and sign in / create an account.
  2. Navigate to Utility Connect in the Apps Marketplace.
  3. Click on "Connections" and then "Add Account".
  4. Fill out your Utility Connect username, password, and Partner Code on the pop-up.
    1. If you do not know your Partner Code, please contact the support team for your code.
  5. Press Connect to complete the process.

 

Connecting Zipform

  1. Log into API Nation and sign in / create an account.
  2. Navigate to zipForm in the Apps Marketplace.
  3. Click on "Connections" and then "Add Account".
  4. Type in your ZipForm Username and Password and then press "Connect."

 

Setting up your Workflow

  1. To set up your Workflow, navigate to the Utility Connect - ZipForm page here.
  2. Click on "Activate" on "Transactions (zipForm Edition) to Utility Connect".
  3. The Workflow should complete its setup process and bring you to the completed setup page immediately.
  4. Adjust the settings as desired. The following Settings can be adjusted on the Workflow:
    1. Account: The desired ZipForm account can be chosen if the user has multiple.
    2. Sync all on first run: If selected, when the Workflow runs for the first time, it will sync ALL existing Transactions in the ZipForm account into Utility Connect.
    3. Select Transaction Statuses: Only the Transactions with the selected Statuses will sync from the ZipForm account into Utility Connect.
    4. Select zipForm team: Only the Transactions within the selected Team will sync from the ZipForm account into Utility Connect.
    5. Select zipForm Agent: Only the Transactions on the selected Agent will sync from the ZipForm account into Utility Connect.
    6. Fetch all visible Transactions: All Transactions will sync, regardless of assignment.
      1. Do note that the options between Select zipForm Agent" and "Fetch all visible Transactions" are exclusive. They cannot be used together.

 

Field Mapping

To understand how fields in Utility Connect are filled out with fields from ZipForm, please see the following list. Do note that only "Buying" side Transactions are synced to Utility Connect.

 

  1. First Name: Taken from the Buyer's First Name in ZipForm.
  2. Last Name: Taken from the Buyer's Last Name in ZipForm.
  3. Email: Taken from the Buyer's email in ZipForm.
  4. Primary Phone: Taken from the Buyer's Cell Phone in ZipForm.
  5. Secondary Phone: Taken from the Buyer's Office Phone in ZipForm.
  6. Additional Phones: Taken from the Buyer's Home Phone in ZipForm.
  7. Address (Line 1): Taken from the Transaction's address in ZipForm.
  8. City: Taken from the Transactions's city in ZipForm.
  9. Zip: Taken from the Transaction's Zip code in ZipForm.
  10. State: Taken from the Transaction's State in ZipForm.
  11. Agent First Name: Taken from the Listing's Agent Full Name in ZipForm.
  12. Agent Last Name: Taken from the Listing's Agent Full Name in ZipForm.
  13. Agent Email: Taken from the Listing's Agent Email in ZipForm.
  14. Agent Phone: Taken from the Listing's Agent Cell Phone in ZipForm.
  15. Move In Date: Taken from the Close Date of the Listing in ZipForm.
  16. Transaction Status: Taken from the Status of the Listing in ZipForm.
  17. Participants: One Participant is created in Utility Connect for each person present in a Listing's Parties.
    1. Participant Email: Taken from each relevant party's email in ZipForm. 
    2. Participant Full Name: Taken from the each relevant party's Full Name in ZipForm.
    3. Participant Primary Phone: Taken from the each relevant party's Cell Phone in ZipForm.
