Why are my Mojo contacts not syncing?

If you have set up one of our integrations in which you are pulling contacts from Mojo, but notice they are not syncing, this article will guide you through a few areas to check to confirm the contact is eligible.

The contact does not belong to the appropriate group(s)

When setting up your workflow through API Nation you will be given an opportunity to select which group or groups in Mojo you wish to sync contacts from. This gives users the ability to control the number of contacts they are syncing and preventing unwanted data from being moved over.

If you do choose to only pull contacts from a specific group or groups, you will want to first confirm the contacts do in fact belong to that group, or one of the groups if multiple are selected.

Make sure to press the "Send to API Nation" button

In 2023, Mojo Dialer updated its system, changing how contacts are exported through API services. Now, users must click a button to initiate the transfer of a contact. After the button is pressed, it disappears for that contact and any future updates to the contact will automatically sync.

Before syncing, you will want to ensure the contact is part of the correct group if you are choosing to only pull contacts from specific groups. Once confirmed, click the "Send to API Nation" button under the More button (old design) or the Action button (new design) on the contact.

Once the button is pressed, that contact will be placed in the queue to sync. Users will be able to confirm this did in fact sync by looking at the Integrations section on the contact card and looking for the "Last push date".

They may be missing required information

When syncing contacts from Mojo into certain CRM applications, it is possible that the contact in question does not have the required information in order for the contact to be created.

For example, if syncing contacts from Mojo to kvCORE you will want to make sure they have either a phone number or an email. If the contact card only has their name, this will not be enough information for our service to create a contact inside kvCORE.
