Integration Overview
This integration provides users with easy syncing between Docusign and Utility Connect! Once set up, changes to Transactions in Docusign will sync to and create/update Leads inside Utility Connect. This sync will continue to run automatically and require no user input.
To get started, please see the steps below. Further down the page is a list of fields that this integration will sync betwen Utility Connect and Docusign.
Connecting Utility Connect
- Log into API Nation and sign in / create an account.
- Navigate to Utility Connect in the Apps Marketplace.
- Click on "Connections" and then "Add Account".
- Fill out your Utility Connect username, password, and Partner Code on the pop-up.
- If you do not know your Partner Code, please contact the support team for your code.
- Press Connect to complete the process.
Connecting Zipform
- Log into API Nation and sign in / create an account.
- Navigate to DocuSign in the Apps Marketplace.
- Click on "Connections" and then "Add Account".
- You will be navigated to Docusign. Login, and you will be redirected back to API Nation.
Setting up your Workflow
- To set up your Workflow, navigate to the Utility Connect - Docusign page here.
- Click on "Activate" on "Docusign Transactions to Utility Connect".
- The Workflow should complete its setup process and bring you to the completed setup page immediately.
- Adjust the settings as desired. The following Settings can be adjusted on the Workflow:
- Account: The desired DocuSign account can be chosen if the user has multiple.
- Select Account: Only the Transactions under the selected Account will sync from DocuSign into Utility Connect.
- Select Office: Only the Transactions under the selected Office will sync from the DocuSign account into Utility Connect.
- Sync all rooms on first run: Syncs all past rooms in the Account, regardless of their last updated date, into Utility connect.
- Sync Rooms from: If a date is selected, only rooms from the selected date onward will be synced by this integration into Utility Connect.
- Note: "Sync all rooms on first run" and "Sync Rooms from" are exclusive choices - both cannot be selecetd at the same time.
Field Mapping
To understand how fields in Utility Connect are filled out with fields from DocuSign, please see the following list. Do note that only "Buying" side Transactions are synced to Utility Connect.
- Full Name: Taken from the Buyer's Full Name in DocuSign.
- Email: Taken from the Buyer's email in DocuSign.
- Primary Phone: Taken from the Buyer's Cell Phone in DocuSign.
- Secondary Phone: Taken from the Buyer's Business Phone in DocuSign.
- Additional Phones: Taken from the Buyer's Home Phone in DocuSign.
- Address (Line 1): Taken from the Transaction's address 1 in DocuSign.
- City: Taken from the Transactions's city in DocuSign.
- Zip: Taken from the Transaction's Postal code in DocuSign.
- State: Taken from the Transaction's State in DocuSign.
- Agent First Name: Taken from the first Listing's Agent Name in DocuSign.
- Agent Last Name: Taken from the first Listing's Agent Name in DocuSign.
- Agent Email: Taken from the first Listing's Agent Email in DocuSign.
- Agent Phone: Taken from the first Listing's Agent Cell Phone in DocuSign.
- Move In Date: Taken from the Actual Close Date of the Listing in DocuSign.
- Transaction Type: Taken from the Side of the Listing in DocuSign.
- Transaction Status: Taken from the Status of the Listing in DocuSign.
- Participants: One Participant is created in Utility Connect for each Person present in a Listing.
- Participant Email: Taken from each relevant person's email in DocuSign.
- Participant Full Name: Taken from the each relevant person's Name in DocuSign.
- Participant Primary Phone: Taken from the each relevant person's Cell Phone in DocuSign.
