Reconnecting Your Application to API Nation

At API Nation, we understand the critical importance of seamless integration between platforms and services. However, occasional disruptions in API connections are inevitable, whether due to updates, maintenance, or changes in authentication credentials. When such disruptions occur, you may need to reconnect your application to API Nation and restart your workflows to ensure uninterrupted operation and data integrity.

 

Below is a step-by-step guide to help you effectively navigate this process :

 

  1. Log into API Nation. This will bring you to your workflows.
  2. Select Error on the left-side panel to see only those workflows that need to be addressed.

 

 

  1. Click the Fix Now button next to the workflow.

 

 

  1. The message will indicate which application needs to be reconnected.

    In the example below, you will note that it is my Follow-Up Boss application that needs to be reconnected.  For this article, I will demonstrate reconnecting this specific application, but please note that these are the steps to follow regardless of the account.

 

 

  1. Click the image at the top corresponding to the account that needs to be addressed.

 

 

  1. Click Connections.

 

 

  1. Click the Reconnect button to reconnect this application to API Nation.

 

 

  1. Once you have reconnected your application, your workflow will need to be restarted to begin transmitting data once again.
    To do this, select My Syncs at the top.

 

  1. Select Paused on the left-side panel.

 

 

  1. Click the toggle to turn the integration back on.

 

 

 

By following these steps, any data pending synchronization will begin syncing again, ensuring the smooth operation of your workflow!
