Google Drive - Insufficient Permission Error
print icon

If you are seeing an "Insufficient Permission" message in your Google Drive logs, this is due to our service not having the access required in order to send the files over. Typically this happens when not all permissions were granted at the time of connecting your Google Drive account.

In order to resolve the error, please follow the steps below.

Step 1

Login to your API Nation account

Step 2

Click Apps at the top of the screen

Step 3

Use the search bar to locate and click on the Google Drive tile

Step 4

Select Connections, then click the Reconnect button next to the Google account that is receiving the error

Step 5

Next, chose the account you are looking to reconnect

Step 6

Click Continue

Step 7

Click Allow

Step 8

You will now be returned back to our site. Please follow Steps 1-3 above to navigate back to Google Drive and confirm your account has been reconnected by checking the date/time stamp. These should now appear with today's date and time.

That's it! As good measure, we recommend restarting any and all workflows that are associated to the Google Drive account you just reconnected.

If you are still having issues with the error, please email our Support Team.

Happy Syncing!
