Dotloop - Can I backup archived files?

A very common question we receive is whether or not you can backup archived files or documents from Dotloop through our backup process. While our service is able to backup information from Loops in an archived status, it does not have access to retrieve any individual files or documents that have been archived.

To summarize:

Archived Loops -

Archived Files -

If you wish to sync files that have been archived in Dotloop, you will need to first unarchive them. To do so please follow the steps outline below:

  1. Login to Dotloop
  2. Select the loop containing the files in question

  1. Click Show Archived in the Documents section

  1. Locate the file you wish to unarchive

  1. Select the 3 dots to the right and click Unarchive

Heads up ❇️: To confirm your file is no longer archived, make sure it is not greyed out.
