Summary
Contacts in iCloud can be synced to Homeowner.ai using this integration. Please see below for a list of configurable settings.
Settings
Overview
When setting up a iCloud > Homeowner.ai integration, several options can be configured on the settings page.
Sync all contacts on first run / Resync all Contacts
When this option is selected, the integration will sync ALL Contacts from iCloud into Homeowner.ai.
When this option is unselected, the integration will sync only NEWLY created or updated contacts from iCloud into Homeowner.ai.
Please note that regardless of the option, any Filters (such as based on the Contact List) will still apply: even if this option is selected, if a Contact does not meet the valid criteria you may have specified, it will not sync.
Advanced Filter
Your sync can be customized to only let some Contacts through.
- For example, a possible filter, shown below, reads as such “Only sync iCloud Contacts whose List equals 'TestContact'.”
- On the left is the field that will act as the “reference field” for the Filter.
- The center box is the logic operator - the Workflow will use this as the “rule” for what is allowed through. This is a dropdown menu with predesignated options for you.
- The right box is the specified value which can be a string, date, etc.
Mapping
For ease of use, several fields have been pre-mapped. Mapping can be changed at desired.
- Address: City: The sync will attempt to use data from iCloud's "Home City" field when filling out "City" in Homeowner.ai. If "Home City" is blank, it will instead look for "Work City", and then "School City", and then "Other City".
- Address: State: The sync will attempt to use data from iCloud's "Home State" field when filling out "State" in Homeowner.ai. If "Home State" is blank, it will instead look for "Work State", and then "School State", and then "Other State".
- Address: Street: The sync will attempt to use data from iCloud's "Home Street" field when filling out "Street" in Homeowner.ai. If "Home Street" is blank, it will instead look for "Work Street", and then "School Street", and then "Other Street".
- Address: Postal Code: The sync will attempt to use data from iCloud's "Home ZIP" field when filling out "Postal Code" in Homeowner.ai. If "Home ZIP" is blank, it will instead look for "Work ZIP", and then "School ZIP", and then "Other ZIP".
- Emails: Email: The sync will attempt to use data from iCloud's "Home Email" field when filling out "Email" in Homeowner.ai. If "Home Email" is blank, it will instead look for "Work Email", and then "School Email", and then "Other Email".
