Summary

Homeward Leads and Follow Up Boss Leads can bidirectionally sync using this integration. This integration also tracks changes to Lead Stage and/or Agent Assignment in Follow Up Boss and sends these to Homeward.

 

This integration syncs the following use cases.

1. Homeward Preliminary Offers > Follow Up Boss Leads: My Homeward Generated Leads/Preliminary Offers to sync to Follow Up Boss when they are created or updated.
   1. This includes several custom fields from Homeward: Preliminary Offer URL, Offer Finalization Link, Offer Amount, Reason for Denial
2. Follow Up Boss Leads> Create Homeward Leads: Only in the following cases. Upon a successful sync, the workflow will pass the custom fields Preliminary Offer URL, Offer Finalization Link, Offer Amount, and Reason for Denial back to the Follow Up Boss Lead.
   1. Lead is created in FUB with an Address
   2. Lead in FUB has a user-defined tag, such as "RequestHWOffer", added to it.
3. Follow Up Boss Leads > Update Homeward Leads: If a Leads in FUB has its Stage changed OR its Agent Assigned/Reassigned, this update will sync to the corresponding Homeward Lead.
   1. Stage names across FUB and HW are pre-mapped in this integration.
   2. Agent details are also synced from FUB to HW.

Preliminary Offers to New Leads: Homeward > Follow Up Boss

Workflow Function

This Workflow syncs new and updated Preliminary Offers from Homeward to Follow Up Boss, creating Leads.

 

Required Custom Fields

Homeward pushes several fields to Follow Up Boss, but FUB does not possess default fields for these values. In order for this integration to work properly, the custom fields below should be created for Leads in Follow Up Boss.

Workflow Setup

1. Navigate to the Homeward-Follow Up Boss page.
2. Press "Activate" on the Workflow named "Preliminary Offers to New Leads".

3. Select your Homeward Connection and press "Connect."
   1. If you do not have a Homeward Connection in your API Nation account yet, press "Add New Account" and please contact Homeward support for your API Access Key. Enter that into the text box and press "Connect."

4. Select your Follow Up Boss Connection and press "Connect."
   1. If you do not have a Follow Up Boss Connection in your API Nation account yet, press "Add Account." Retrieve your API Key from your Follow Up Boss account (Admin > API > API Key) and paste it into the top box. Type a name for the connection as desired in the lower box and then press "Connect".

5. Press "Continue" to complete the setup process.
6. No modifications are needed to the Workflow Template - navigate to the top right corner of the Workflow Builder, toggle the siwtch, and press "Publish."

Lead's Agent Updated: Follow Up Boss > Homeward

Workflow Function

This Workflow syncs Leads in Follow Up Boss when their Assigned Agent is assigned or updated, mirroring this change into the corresponding Homeward Lead.

 

Workflow Setup

1. Navigate to the Homeward-Follow Up Boss page.
2. Press "Activate" on the Workflow named "Lead's Agent Updated".

3. Select your Follow Up Boss Connection and press "Connect."
4. Select your Homeward Connection and press "Connect."
5. Press "Continue" to complete the setup process.
6. No modifications are needed to the Workflow Template - navigate to the top right corner of the Workflow Builder, toggle the siwtch, and press "Publish."

Lead Stage Updated: Follow Up Boss > Homeward

Workflow Function

This Workflow syncs Leads in Follow Up Boss when their Stage is updated, mirroring this change into the corresponding Homeward Lead.

 

Workflow Setup

1. Navigate to the Homeward-Follow Up Boss page.
2. Press "Activate" on the Workflow named "Lead Stage Updated".

3. Select your Follow Up Boss Connection and press "Connect."
4. Select your Homeward Connection and press "Connect."
5. Press "Continue" to complete the setup process.
6. Pan the Workflow Builder over until you find Box #9: Mapping. Click on it to bring up the Mapping interface.

7. The mapping interface for "Event Data" determines how Stages in Follow Up Boss translate to Events in Homeward. It has already been pre-filled. Additional Follow Up Boss Stages and their corresponding equivalent in Homeward can be added by pressing the (+) at the bottom of the Data Transpose menu.
8. Once the Mapping of Stages is confirmed, no other modifications are needed to the Workflow Template - navigate to the top right corner of the Workflow Builder, toggle the siwtch, and press "Publish."

Lead with tag added to Preliminary Offers: Follow Up Boss > Homeward

Workflow Function

This Workflow syncs new and updated Preliminary Offers from Homeward to Follow Up Boss, creating Leads.

 

Workflow Setup

1. Navigate to the Homeward-Follow Up Boss page.
2. Press "Activate" on the Workflow named "New Leads to Preliminary Offers".

3. Select your Follow Up Boss Connection and press "Connect."
4. Select your Homeward Connection and press "Connect."
5. Press "Continue" to complete the setup process.
6. Pan the Workflow builder until you find Box #1: Follow Up Boss, and click on it.

7. The box "The tag this should trigger on" must be filled out with a value. An example would be "RequestHWOffer".
8. Once the Tag has been defined, no other modifications are needed to the Workflow Template - navigate to the top right corner of the Workflow Builder, toggle the siwtch, and press "Publish."
