Homestack - kvCore Sync Configuration

Summary

Users in Homestack and Contacts in kvCore can be synced using this integration. Please see below for a list of configurable settings on each integration, varying depending on whether you are syncing To or From Homestack.

 

Homestack Users to kvCore Contacts

Overview

When setting up a Homestack > kvCore sync, several options can be configured on the settings page.

 

 

kvCore Settings

 

 

  • Add a Contact: If this option is checked, the sync will have permission to create new Contacts in kvCore. If unchecked, the sync will NOT create contacts in kvCore, even if it detects that a new user was created in Homestack.
  • Update a Contact: If this option is checked, the sync will have permission to updates Contacts in kvCore. If unchecked, the sync will NOT update contacts in kvCore, even if it detects that a user was updated in Homestack.
  • Do not Overwrite: If this option is checked, the sync will only send information into blank fields in kvCore when Updating Contacts. This does NOT affect Contacts in kvCore when they are being Created.

 

 

Advanced Filter

Your sync can be customized to only let some Leads through.

  1. For example, a possible filter, shown below, reads as such “Only sync Homestack Users whose Tags do not contain 'PENDING'.”
  2. On the left is the field that will act as the “reference field” for the Filter. 
  3. The center box is the logic operator - the Workflow will use this as the “rule” for what is allowed through. This is a dropdown menu with predesignated options for you.
  4. The right box is the specified value. Any string can be entered here.

 

 

 

Pre-Mapped Fields

For ease of use, several fields for kvCore syncing have been pre-mapped with fields from Homestack. Please see below of a list of these fields and an explanation of the pre-mapped values. It is recommended to leave these as is unless there is a specific need to adjust them.

 

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email
  • Agent Email: The email of the Assigned Agent for the Homestack user.
  • Note: Note that as of August 2024, this field is not yet functional in syncs.
  • Hashtags: Please note that Tags in kvCore CANNOT contain spaces. To ensure proper syncing, ensure that your tags in Homestack do not have spaces.
  • Search Alerts: Please note that kvCore can only store up to 5 Search Alerts at a time. If you have more than 5 Saved Searches in Homestack, only the first 5 Saved Searches will sync to kvCore.

 


 

kvCore People to Homestack Users

Overview

When setting up a kvCore > Homestack sync, several options can be configured on the settings page.

 

 

Do Not Overwrite

 

 

If this option is checked, the sync will only send information into blank fields in Homestack when Updating Users.

 

Advanced Filter

  2. On the left is the field that will act as the “reference field” for the Filter.

  4. The right box is the specified value. Any string can be entered here.

Please note that to create a User in Homestack, Name (either Full Name OR First Name and Last Name), Email, and Phone are all required.

  • Notes: Note that as of August 2024, Notes are not yet functional in syncs for Homestack.
