I need to connect my iCloud account to API Nation, how do I go about this?

iCloud has a very specific way of connecting to API Nation, they utilize what is called an 'App Specific Password', we'll go over how to connect this below!

Here's how to get started:

1.) You'll want to log into your API Nation account to get started, you can use this link here as a shortcut: https://my.apination.com/

2.) Once you are logged in, you'll want to navigate to the 'Apps' page on API Nation by clicking where it says 'Apps':
 

3.) From here, you'll want to find the 'iCloud' tile and click on it:

4.) We are going to connect the application to API Nation by clicking 'Connections' and then 'Add account' and following the steps on iCloud's platform:

5.) To connect iCloud, you’ll need your Apple ID, and an app-specific-password. There are links on this form to guides to create your app-specific-password:



6.) To create the app-specific-password, open a new tab and go to https://appleid.apple.com/ 
Sign in with your Apple ID and related password:



7.) It will ask you for Two Factor Authentication. Check your iPhone, iPad, or Macbook for the 6 digit code:



8.) Once signed in, click on the tile for “App-Specific Passwords":



9.) Click Generate, Add a name (e.g. API Nation) and then click “Create”:



10.) Once you’ve created the password, highlight it and press cmd+c or ctrl+c to copy:



11.) Go back to the API Nation tab in your browser, and paste the password in using cmd+v or ctrl+v:



If these steps have been followed correctly, you should now have your iCloud account connected to API Nation!
