Frequently Asked Questions:

What are the subscription plans available?

Most of the integrations offered through API Nation will require a metered subscription plan. When selecting which plan is best for you, you will want to take into account all workflows you will be setting up and the volume of data you anticipate transferring for those integrations.

Here are the plans that we currently offer:

Is this free to use?

Signing up for an API Nation account is completely free! You can explore our platform and browse available integrations at no cost. Some integrations, however, require a paid subscription to activate ongoing sync or automation features.

If I cancel my subscription with another service (like dotloop, kvCORE, Mailchimp, etc.), will my API Nation subscription cancel automatically?

No. Your API Nation subscription is separate from your other service subscriptions. If you cancel with another provider, your API Nation subscription will remain active until you cancel it directly through API Nation.

If I pause my workflows, does that stop me from being billed?

Pausing your workflows does not stop billing. Your subscription remains active while your workflows are paused, and billing continues until the subscription is canceled through your API Nation account.

How do I do a one-time sync?

API Nation is designed for continuous, automated syncing between your applications. We don't currently offer a "one-time sync" option. However, you can start a subscription, allow your data to sync, and then schedule your subscription to cancel once the sync is complete.

Do I have to give a 30-day notice prior to cancelling?

No. Users are able to cancel their subscription immediately if they wish. For more information on options when cancelling your subscription, please review our article on How to Cancel your Subscription.

How do I upgrade or downgrade my subscription?

For more information on how to upgrade or downgrade your account, please review our article Upgrading vs. Downgrading.

Is my billing date adjusted when I upgrade?

Great question! When you upgrade your subscription, your billing date does not change. Because of this, we recommend upgrading within a few days of your billing date whenever possible. This ensures you can take full advantage of your upgraded plan for the majority of your current billing cycle.

It's also helpful to know that once you upgrade, the new subscription plan will be the one you're billed for moving forward. If you decide the higher plan is no longer needed, you can downgrade and the change will take effect on your next billing cycle. For step-by-step instructions, please see our article Upgrading vs. Downgrading.

What happens to my data after I cancel my subscription?

Any data that has already been transferred will remain in place even after your subscription is cancelled. API Nation does not remove or roll back previously synced data, and you do not need an active subscription to keep access to the data that was transferred during your subscription.

How do I pause my billing?

At this time, there isn't a way to pause your billing. Please note that pausing your workflows does not pause your subscription. If you no longer wish to be billed, you will need to cancel your subscription.

How do I update my billing information?

If you need to update the credit card for billing, please see our article How to update your payment method.

What happens if I do not use all my records in a month? Do they roll over?

Unused records do not roll over to the next month. Each time your subscription renews, your record usage resets to zero, and your workflows can continue syncing until you reach your record limit for that billing cycle.
