Integration Overview

This integration provides users with easy syncing between Brokermint and Utility Connect! Once set up, changes to Transactions in Brokermint will sync to and create/update Leads inside Utility Connect. This sync will continue to run automatically and require no user input.

To get started, please see the steps below. Further down the page is a list of fields that this integration will sync betwen Utility Connect and Google Sheets.

 

Connecting Utility Connect

  1. Log into API Nation and sign in / create an account.
  2. Navigate to Utility Connect in the Apps Marketplace.
  3. Click on "Connections" and then "Add Account".
  4. Fill out your Utility Connect username, password, and Partner Code on the pop-up.
    1. If you do not know your Partner Code, please contact the support team for your code.
  5. Press Connect to complete the process.

 

Connecting Brokermint

  1. Log into your Brokermint account.
  2. Navigate to "Add-ons" under "User".
  3. Click on "Apination" under "Data" and then "Get Started" at the top of the screen.
  4. Once the process is completed, you should be brought to API Nation.

 

Setting up your Workflow

  1. To set up your Workflow, navigate to the Utility Connect - Brokermint page here.
  2. Click on "Activate" on "Brokermint Transactions into Utility Connect".
  3. The Workflow should complete its setup process and bring you to the completed setup page immediately.

 

Field Mapping

To understand how fields in Utility Connect are filled out with fields from Brokermint, please see the following list. Do note that only "Buying" side Transactions are synced to Utility Connect.

 

  1. First Name: Taken from the Buyer's First Name in Brokermint.
  2. Last Name: Taken from the Buyer's Last Name in Brokermint.
  3. Email: Taken from the Buyer's email in Brokermint.
  4. Address (Line 1): Taken from the Transaction's address in Brokermint.
  5. City: Taken from the Transactions's city in Brokermint.
  6. Zip: Taken from the Transaction's Zip code in Brokermint.
  7. State: Taken from the Transaction's State in Brokermint.
  8. Move In Date: Taken from the Closing Date of the Transaction in Brokermint.
  9. Transaction Type: Taken from the Transaction's "Representing" selection in Brokermint.
  10. Participant Email: Taken from the Transaction's list of contacts and refers to a particular contact's email.
  11. Participant Full Name: Taken from the Transaction's list of contacts and refers to a particular contact's full name.
  12. Participant Primary Phone: Taken from the Transaction's list of contacts and refers to a particular contact's phone.
  13. Participant Role: Taken from the Transaction's list of contacts and refers to a particular contact's role on the Transaction.
